Throughout the duration of MCMP events, programs and/or classes, there are opportunities for photographic and video coverage by MCMP which may include your participation or observance of the activity. MCMP reserves the right to use the photos and video at its discretion for media coverage and promotional materials, including broadcasts, reports, publications, social media and marketing materials of MCMP. If you do not wish to be photographed or video recorded at the event, please let the photographer or videographer know prior to being photographed or videotaped. MCMP shall otherwise assume that it has your permission to photograph or video you and/or your child's involvement and participation in this activity. Join Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Gary Davenport and a Park Educator to find interesting fungi of the area. Meet at the parking lot of McGuffey Wildlife Preserve (4448 McGuffey Rd, Lowellville, OH 44436). Hike may be up to 1.5 miles with uneven and wet terrain. Dress for the weather. Walk with a Geologist: Yellow Creek

Join a park educator as we travel back in time to explore the geology of Yellow Creek Park! Explore the powerful nature of water as we learn about the geology of the beautiful, exposed sandstone cliffs. Total distance hikes will vary 2 to 3 miles depending on the overall interest of the group. Meet at Hopewell Furnace Parking Lot. Waterproof shoes or hiking sandals recommended - we will get our feet wet while exploring, we will be crossing the stream multiple times to reach the Hopewell Furnace! Registration required.
