Programs

Throughout the duration of MCMP events, programs and/or classes, there are opportunities for photographic and video coverage by MCMP which may include your participation or observance of the activity. MCMP reserves the right to use the photos and video at its discretion for media coverage and promotional materials, including broadcasts, reports, publications, social media and marketing materials of MCMP. If you do not wish to be photographed or video recorded at the event, please let the photographer or videographer know prior to being photographed or videotaped. MCMP shall otherwise assume that it has your permission to photograph or video you and/or your child's involvement and participation in this activity. MetroCyclers Club Membership

MetroCyclers is a cycling club that will explore the designated bike trails that Mill Creek MetroParks has to offer. Whether your goal is to explore the MetroParks' bikeways for the first time, or you are an experienced cyclist, MetroCyclers is a club for you! Bike trips range from easy to difficult and are approximately 7-18 miles each. Bikes and helmets are not provided by Mill Creek MetroParks. First-time members will receive an authentic cycling shirt, drawstring backpack, sticker, and water bottle. Cost: $30 Mahoning County Resident; $40 Non-Mahoning County Resident. MetroMutts Club Membership

Join our MetroMutts program to emBARK on monthly, dog-friendly hikes through Mill Creek Metroparks! First-time MetroMutts members will receive a drawstring bag, water bottle, dog bowl, dog waste bag holder, and sticker. Family membership includes immediate family and up to 3 dogs for $40.00. Individual membership includes one dog and one person for $30.00. An additional dog or person is $5.00. Call Wick Recreation Area for more details.

Disc Golf 101

Join us at the MetroParks Farm Disc Golf Course to learn the basic fundamentals needed to understand and play disc golf. Bring your own disc or rent a disc from us for $2.50 per disc. Meeting Dates: 4/4, 5/2, 6/6, 7/11, 8/1, 9/5, 10/3, 11/7 @ 5:00-6:30 PM. Complimentary instruction (for beginners) from 4:30-5:00 PM. Rented discs must be turned in by 6:30 PM. Tiny Tikes Soccer League (Ages 3-5) *SPRING* **THIS LEAGUE IS FULL**

**THIS LEAGUE IS FULL** Join us for Tiny Tikes Soccer League this Spring! This is a learning league that will run for 7-weeks, ending on June 14th. Participants will receive a MCMP-branded uniform (top only), one pair of black socks, an MCMP water bottle and drawstring bag. Shoes/cleats, shin guards, and mouthpieces are not provided by Mill Creek MetroParks. Cleats must be non-metal tips. Shin guards and mouth pieces can be purchased at the Wick Recreation Area team shop. Registration deadline is April 20, 2025. Cost is $75 for Mahoning County residents, $85 for non-Mahoning County residents. Call Wick Recreation Area for more details.

Youth Soccer League (Ages 6-12) *SPRING*

Join us for Youth Soccer League this Spring! This league will run for 7-weeks, ending with a single-elimination tournament on June 14th. Participants will receive a MCMP-branded uniform (top only), one pair of black socks, and an MCMP water bottle and drawstring bag. Shoes/cleats, shin guards, and mouthpieces are not provided by Mill Creek MetroParks. Cleats must be non-metal tips. Shin guards and mouth pieces can be purchased at the Wick Recreation Area team shop. Participants will be placed in an appropriate age group depending on the number of registrations. Registration deadline is April 20, 2025. Cost is $90 for Mahoning County residents, $100 for non-Mahoning County residents. Call Wick Recreation Area for more details.

Mushroom Meander

Join Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Gary Davenport and a Park Educator to find the first fungi of the season. Meet at the parking lot opposite the Silver Bridge (Valley Drive). Hike may be up to 1.5 miles with uneven and wet terrain. Dress for the weather. Wear water-resistant footwear and bring a mushroom field guide if you have one. Registration required.
