Programs

Throughout the duration of MCMP events, programs and/or classes, there are opportunities for photographic and video coverage by MCMP which may include your participation or observance of the activity. MCMP reserves the right to use the photos and video at its discretion for media coverage and promotional materials, including broadcasts, reports, publications, social media and marketing materials of MCMP. If you do not wish to be photographed or video recorded at the event, please let the photographer or videographer know prior to being photographed or videotaped. MCMP shall otherwise assume that it has your permission to photograph or video you and/or your child's involvement and participation in this activity. Fishing in the Park

Join us at for a fun evening of fishing! This outing is primarily for youth anglers ages 3-12 years old and will take place at the Lake Newport Boathouse off of W. Newport Drive. Fishing equipment and bait is provided for all registered youth participants. A valid fishing license is required for participants 16+ years old. Call Wick Recreation Area for more details.

Forest Babies

Join Park staff for Forest Babies, a program for your youngest ones, ages 1-3 years old. Enjoy bonding time together while exploring the Lily Pond Circle Trail and then creating a simple nature craft or completing an activity to take home. Please be sure you and your little one are dressed for the weather as this program will include outdoor nature time. Register/pay for your Forest Baby (adults need not register) by 4/6, online or call 330.740.7107 x 129. Only registered children may attend. Please do not bring unregistered children to this program. America 250: MCMP - Ohio Moves

Celebrate America's 250th birthday with a guided walk led by a park educator as we explore the area's rich history through Ohio's monthly America 250 theme. This month's focus is Ohio Moves: Transportation. What better way to celebrate than with a stroll along the oldest road in Mill Creek Park, the East Cohasset Hike & Bike Trail? Originally designed by Volney Rogers himself, this easy 2-4-mile walk offers a smooth path through beautiful scenery while we share stories from the Park's past.
