NFL Flag Football League (Ages 3-12) *SPRING*

Join us for the NFL Flag Football League this spring! This league will run weekly on Saturdays at the Wick Recreation Area beginning on May 2, 2026, leading to a season-ending tournament on June 13, 2026. Weekly game times will vary between 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Participants will be placed in an appropriate age group (3-5, 6-9, or 10-12). Participants will receive an official NFL branded uniform and flag belt, water bottle, football sticker and drawstring bag. Cleats and mouthpieces are required but are not provided by Mill Creek MetroParks. Cleats must be non-metal tips. Mouth pieces can be purchased at the Wick Recreation Area team shop. Registration deadline is April 19, 2026. Cost is $130 for Mahoning County residents, $140 for non-Mahoning County residents. Call Wick Recreation Area for more details.

Yoga Basics Course

Yoga promotes harmonious and skillful living, while developing awareness and practical tools for navigating the physical, emotional, mental, & spiritual challenges of daily life. You are invited to join our mutually supportive and noncompetitive group which meets Outdoors when weather permits in morning splendor with birdsong. Karres leads the class, sharing the ancient wisdom teachings of Yoga, while drawing upon decades of experience. Women's Par 3 Golf League *SPRING/SUMMER*

Join us for the Women's Par 3 Golf League! This league is for women ages 18 and older, and begins on May 5, 2026, leading to a season-ending tournament on July 28, 2026. Group outings will be held weekly on Tuesdays at 5:00 PM and will follow a shotgun-style format. Each weekly outing will alternate play between the front and back 9-holes. Participants will receive one weekly round of golf and a MCMP-branded golf top with their registration. Additional golf clothing and accessories may be purchased at the Wick Recreation Area team shop. Registration deadline is May 5, 2026. World Migratory Bird Day!

World Migratory Bird Day is a celebration of Spring migration of our feathered friends. Spend the day with Jeff Harvey on the observation platform at the George L. Fordyce Park (2650 W. Calla Rd., Canfield, OH) identifying and counting the different species of birds that we see. Drop in anytime between 6am-3pm. Binoculars recommended. No registration needed. Limited parking. Kayak Club (Tuesdays @ 5:00 PM-6:15 PM)

Kayak Club members will meet once a month to explore Lake Newport. Each meeting will begin at the Lake Newport Boathouse on W. Newport Drive. Kayak trips for this group will be from 5:30 PM-6:15 PM on 5/12, 6/2, 7/14, 8/18, 9/15, and 10/6. Members will be provided with a kayak, paddle, and life jacket (if you do not have your own). Members will also receive a UV-blocking shirt, dry bag to prevent any items getting wet, and safety whistle. Cost: $100 Mahoning County residents, $110 non-Mahoning County residents.
