Why let the kids have all the fun? The Science Class series invites ages 18+ to dig in to their natural curiosity and explore the living world with a Park Educator through hands on learning. Think of a seventh grade science class for adults! This season we will be learning basic dendrology (the study of trees). We'll learn to identify trees without their leaves, make measurements to estimate tree height, and more. Enjoy the traditional holiday atmosphere at Lanterman's Mill. Fire-roasted chestnuts, unique handcrafted gifts for sale, and festive entertainment will lift your spirits. Santa will be visiting the mill from 12pm-2pm on both days. Indulge in some tasty treats from the concession stand. To share the holiday spirit with others, bring a new hat, scarf or a pair of mittens to decorate the "Giving Tree". Donated items will warm up children and adults in need this winter.
