participation or observance of the activity. MCMP reserves the right to use the photos and video at its discretion for media
coverage and promotional materials, including broadcasts, reports, publications, social media and marketing materials of MCMP.
If you do not wish to be photographed or video recorded at the event, please let the photographer or videographer know prior to
being photographed or videotaped. MCMP shall otherwise assume that it has your permission to photograph or video you and/or

Back again this year . . .enjoy an extra special Christmas treat with a quiet evening visit to historic Lanterman's Mill on Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th from 5-7pm. You are invited to an exclusive, night-time look inside this iconic structure, with its unique history and architecture, beautifully dressed in holiday style. The garland, the trees, and the holiday music are all a part of the magic of the evening. Gift Shop will be open for last minute shopping. Hot chocolate and popcorn for sale. As you explore the Davis Education and Visitors Center, you'll be surrounded by more than 70 beautifully decorated trees. It's like stepping into a winter wonderland! Soak up the festive atmosphere as you shop, stroll, and enjoy all the stunning trees on display.
Do you have a favorite rock sitting around your home? Not sure what it is? Bring it to Ford Nature Center Education Building to meet with a park educator to learn how to identify your rock and how it was formed. Please bring a rock! Park educator will be on site from 12 - 2 pm to answer your questions about your rock! Walk-ins welcomed. No registration required. FREE.

Join Park staff for a moon-lit evening hike on the night of the December Full Cold Moon. Meet at Newport Wetlands Parking Lot. We will hike along the West Newport trail, approximately 1 mile, moderately difficult with hills. Dress for the weather and bring a flashlight if you have one. Join our 12 month MetroMutts program where we will have an organized hike or activity each month.
