Programs

Throughout the duration of MCMP events, programs and/or classes, there are opportunities for photographic and video coverage by MCMP which may include your participation or observance of the activity. MCMP reserves the right to use the photos and video at its discretion for media coverage and promotional materials, including broadcasts, reports, publications, social media and marketing materials of MCMP. If you do not wish to be photographed or video recorded at the event, please let the photographer or videographer know prior to being photographed or videotaped. MCMP shall otherwise assume that it has your permission to photograph or video you and/or your child's involvement and participation in this activity. Women's Par 3 Golf League *FALL*

Join us for the Women's Par 3 Golf League! This league is for women ages 18 and older. This league begins on August 12, 2025 leading to a season-ending tournament on September 30, 2025. Groups will begin play shotgun-style and will alternate play between the front and back 9-holes each week. Participants will receive a MCMP-branded golf top. Additional golf clothing and accessories may be purchased at the Wick Recreation Area team shop. Registration deadline is August 12, 2025. Cost: $60 Mahoning County resident, $70 non-Mahoning County resident. Call Wick Recreation area for more details.

Rock the Park - a Geological Exploration of Mill Creek Park

Ever wonder how Mill Creek Park was formed? For much of geologic history, Ohio was underwater and near the equator! Join us on the Cohasset Express Trolley as we travel back over 300 million years and explore the formation of the Park throughout geologic time. Learn about the bedrock of the Park and how the Ice Age shaped the Park that we all love. Where possible, we will hop off to investigate geologic features up close. Join us at the MetroParks Farm Disc Golf Course to learn the basic fundamentals needed to understand and play disc golf. Bring your own disc or rent a disc from us for $2.50 per disc.
