Maximize

Throughout the duration of MCMP events, programs and/or classes, there are opportunities for photographic and video coverage by MCMP which may include your participation or observance of the activity. MCMP reserves the right to use the photos and video at its discretion for media coverage and promotional materials, including broadcasts, reports, publications, social media and marketing materials of MCMP. If you do not wish to be photographed or video recorded at the event, please let the photographer or videographer know prior to being photographed or videotaped. MCMP shall otherwise assume that it has your permission to photograph or video you and/or your child's involvement and participation in this activity. DIY Snowshoes - CANCELED

Ages 6-10 yrs old. Curious about snowshoes? Join a Park Educator for winter weather fun as we attempt to make DIY Snowshoes out of different materials and then test them out in the snow. Little Tree Huggers' Club

6-9 years old with an adult. Participants will learn about nature, explore literature, and create beautiful art to take home. Meet at the Cushwa Educational Pavilion (located at the rear of the parking lot at Fellows Riverside Gardens) at 10:00 a.m. Wear old clothes that can get some paint on them. This month we will be reading poetry from the book Dark Emperor and Other Poems of the Night, by Joyce Sidman. We will learn about the creatures of the nighttime forest, and we will create a magical nighttime forest 8x10 acrylic painting.
