Join us at the MetroParks Farm Disc Golf Course to learn the basic fundamentals needed to understand and play disc golf. Bring your own disc or rent a disc from us for $2.50 per disc. Meeting Dates: 4/4, 5/2, 6/6, 7/11, 8/1, 9/5, 10/3, 11/7 @ 5:00-6:30 PM. Complimentary instruction (for beginners) from 4:30-5:00 PM. Rented discs must be turned in by 6:30 PM. Rock the Park - a Mill Creek Park SPECIAL! Geology Trolley Tour & Hike
Come join us on the Cohasset Express Trolley for a unique geological view of Mill Creek Park! We will board the trolley at Fellows Riverside Gardens (123 McKinley Ave.) and wind our way throughout the Park learning the geological story that formed the area. We will hop off at different stops to experience unique features up close and enjoy a hike along the Cascade Falls and Witch's Den. Back onboard the trolley, we will complete our geological journey with a relaxing ride on the East Cohasset hike & Bike Trail, leading us to the oldest rocks in the Park! 0.5-mile hike; moderately difficulty with steps and steep rocks.
