Wildflower Wander

Description:

Explore native wildflowers and other plants with Gary Davenport, an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist and park volunteer, on this mid-morning leisurely hike through Hitchcock Woods. This month, we will look for more of the Blue-Bells, Wild Leeks, and Yellow Trout Lily that dominate the landscape, talk about why they do that, and look for anything else that may be popping up. Meet at the Hitchcock Woods parking lot. Please wear boots or appropriate footwear for wet conditions. Registration required. Please register by 5/9 online or call 330.740.7107 ext. 129. No walk-ins.
