Title: National Collect Rocks Day
Description: Join a Park Educator (and geologist!) to celebrate National Collect Rocks Day! National Collect Rocks Day is a fun, non-official holiday observed on September 16th. It's a day to appreciate and celebrate the world of rocks and minerals, and to encourage people to learn more about geology. We will be exploring Bear Creek for unique and cool rocks to find. Learn what type of rock you have found and how it was formed! Waterproof shoes or hiking sandals recommended - we will get our feet wet while exploring! Registration required.
