Summer Star Party

Description:

Join Park Staff and YSU's Astronomy Department for an evening of astronomy, star talk, and stargazing. This event is tentatively scheduled for Monday, July 20; however, the date may be adjusted to another evening between July 20 and July 26 if weather conditions are more favorable. Our goal is to provide the best possible viewing experience under clear, cloudless skies. Participants who register will be notified directly of any schedule changes. Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is strongly recommended to receive weather-related updates. We will meet at the MetroParks Farm parking lot (7574 Columbiana-Canfield Rd.). Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy an evening under the stars! Register by 7/18, online or by calling 330.740.7107 ext. 129. No pets. Free.
