Why let the kids have all the fun? The Science Class series invites ages 18+ to dig in to their natural curiosity and explore the living world with a Park Educator through hands on learning. Think of a seventh grade science class for adults! This month we will be learning about bats. We'll discuss bat physiology, ecology, and behavior on a stroll around Vickers Nature Preserve. Learn to use an ultrasonic microphone to detect bats in the area and interpret species and behavior based on the sounds we pick up. Register/pay by 8/13, online or call 330.740.7107 x 129.
