Science Class (For Adults!): iNaturalist and Citizen Science

Description:

Why let the kids have all the fun? The Science Class series invites ages 18+ to dig in to their natural curiosity and explore the living world with a Park Educator through hands on learning. Think of a seventh grade science class for adults! This month focuses on phone/tablet apps that can enhance your knowledge of the natural world and maybe even contributing to science. Learn how to use iNaturalist and Seek, Merlin Bird ID and eBird, as well as other apps available to you. We'll learn what citizen science is (and isn't) and discover ways you can get involved.
