Programs

Throughout the duration of MCMP events, programs and/or classes, there are opportunities for photographic and video coverage by MCMP which may include your participation or observance of the activity. MCMP reserves the right to use the photos and video at its discretion for media coverage and promotional materials, including broadcasts, reports, publications, social media and marketing materials of MCMP. If you do not wish to be photographed or video recorded at the event, please let the photographer or videographer know prior to being photographed or videotaped. MCMP shall otherwise assume that it has your permission to photograph or video you and/or your child's involvement and participation in this activity. Mindful Meandering: 'Forest Bathing' Hike

Join Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Alyson Scheibe, on a peaceful meander through the park. Learn new ways to tap into your senses and reconnect with nature using Japanese forest bathing principles. No actual bathing in water, rather just appreciating nature from a different perspective. Meet at the Mill Creek Wildlife Sanctuary. Hike will be no longer than 1-mile. Dress for the weather. Coffee With the Birds PROGRAM FULL

Sit and enjoy a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate and watch our feathered friends at our feeders in Nancy's Nook at the Ford Nature Center! An Educator will provide assistance in identifying birds as we look for spring birds who have recently returned from migration to the nature center. Coffee and hot chocolate provided. MetroMutts Memberships

Join our 12 month MetroMutts program where we will have an organized hike or activity each month. Every member will receive a drawstring bag, water bottle, dog bowl, dog waste bag holder, and window sticker. Family membership includes immediate family and up to 3 dogs for $40.00. Additional dog or person is $5.00. Individual membership includes one dog and one person for $30.00. Call Wick Recreation Area 330.740.7114 with any questions.
